In addition to the teaching and research activities, I have contributed to other public service activities in governmental, scientific and professional organizations that are listed as follows:

  • Participated as speaker in the Preparatory sessions of the GCC Ministerial Council meeting, Secretariat- General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, March 2003, Doha, Qatar.
  • President, Women’s Committee, Saudi Economic Association, 2003-2008.
  • Participated in the Third National Dialogue on “Women’s Rights and Responsibilities.” 2003.
  • Member of many steering committees for local and regional conferences, symposiums, workshops, and professional meetings.
  • Initiated and organized several workshops and events.
  • Participated in and conducted many workshops organized by the Supreme Commission of Tourism, chamber of commerce, Human Resource Development Fund, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the Gulf Research Center (GRC).
  • Participated in many conferences on gender economics, labor, development, and investment.
  • Conducted many workshops and series of lectures on stocks, financial market, SME in association with the Saudi-British Bank, Saudi-Dutch Bank and Riyadh Chamber of Commerce.
