Recently the National Commercial Bank (NCB)
celebrated the graduation of a new batch of
external trainees, 23 men and women, after
completing the training course, entitled
“HOW TO START YOUR SMALL BUSINESS PROJECT”
, which was organized by NCB’S
Community Service Unit in cooperation with
COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, CBA,
Jeddah.
Mr. Abdul-Razaq Al-Khareiji, Chief of the
Islamic Retail Development Group at NCB,
said, “This training course is one of NCB’S
Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
NCB, as a national institution, took the
lead in starting such programs to encourage
young people to launch their own small
business projects, after training them in
the basic skills required, with the aim
reduce their dependency on the public sector
in finding jobs. In addition, we seek to
expand the national economy’s base by
encouraging small business projects.”
CBA is the training partner with NCB in this
project. Professor Mohammed Nouri
Quotah, Vice Dean of the College of
Business Administration, said, “The
program “How to start your small business
project?” has produced extraordinary
results. Thanks to the cooperation between
the College and NCB”.
