Signing a Training Contract for Advertising & Broadcasting

 

 

Prof.  Hussein Al Alawi, Dean of College of Business Administration (CBA) in Jeddah signed a contract with the broadcasting Future Company for training and development.

 

It aims at a mutual cooperation for establishing intensive training programs in Advertising and Broadcasting throughout the counseling and Management Development Center which is part of the CBA.

 

These programs include all Advertising and Broadcasting fields (for instance; visible, audio, and readable) plus specialized programs in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations. That is due to the rising development rates in these fields in the last short period of time.

 

Dr. Abdullah Dahlan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees stated that these training programs are the base for establishing the first Academy specialized in modern Advertising and Broadcasting aiming at attracting those who may wish to study the art of Journalism, Marketing and Advertising with the most modern technology and courses that certainly would fill in the gap for the constant needs of the market place.

 

He explained that the launch of the CBA and enrollment in this program comes to attend for today’s world market needs, and its constant growing and development as well as the community’s desperate needs for a specialized group in advertising and journalism skills in these areas, due to the opening of more and more journalism corporations.

 

He emphasized on the fact that during 2005 the rate of spending in advertisement has reached SR1 billion. He also explained that the training programs will induce broadcasting and journalism for the students in order for them to practice and experience the most latest information in this field, in order to develop their talent and skills along with the practical experiences in various fields such as editing, directing, filming, and advertising as well as being given the opportunities to practice them in reality.
