    PROFESSOR MOHAMMED NOURI QUOTAH     

APPOINTED AS THE ACTING VICE DEAN FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS

Professor (Dr.)  Mohammed Nouri Quotah, Professor of Management & Chairman, Management Department at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, and also a Professor of Management in the Department of Business Management of College of Business Administration, CBA, Jeddah, has been appointed by Professor Hussein Al-Alawi  as the ACTING VICE DEAN FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS  with effect from 1st March, 2007.

                           

Professor Mohammed Quotah is a highly qualified and immensely experienced educator. He got his  Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from University of San Francisco, USA,  in 1971, and Master’s in Engineering & Applied Mathematics from University of Washington, Seatle, USA, in 1975, another Master’s degree  in  Operational Research  and  Ph.D. in Operational Research  from Case Western Reserve University, USA, in 1979.

 

He started his  academic career since 1979 as an  Assistant Professor at Faculty of Economics & Administration in King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and achieved full professorship in the year 2000. At the university, he was also the Head of Research & Development Center and Head of the Business Administration Department until June, 2006.

 

All CBA associates wish good health to Dr. Ali Tawati and extend best wishes to Professor Mohammed Quotah for success in his additional and arduous responsibilities as the Acting Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of CBA.
