Students who fail the required attendance margin of 80% will receive a final grade of (DN) in the course. Excuses are not accepted
  • Attendance will be recorded from the beginning of the semester or from the day of adding the course.
  • Students who do not attend the final exam in a course will get a zero mark for the final exam and their grade for course will be calculated according to all other work submitted for the course (which includes: exams, projects and other academic activities). If the student furnishes an acceptable reason to the Academic Affairs for not attending the final exam then the College Council may allow him/her to take a make-up final exam and, therefore, change his/her grade.
  • All final exams time length should not be less than 2 hours and not more than 3 hours length.
  • The College Council has the right to form a committee that cooperates with the academic departments to arrange the final exam activities. The duties of this committee are to review and submit all grades to the Academic Affairs within 3 days from the date of the final exam.
  • The instructor of a course is responsible for preparing the course exams. In certain cases the College Council with the recommendations of the Chairman of the Department may assign others to prepare exams.
  • The Instructor of a course is responsible for grading the course final exam. Whenever necessary, the Chairman of the Department may designate one or more of the same specialization to help in grading the course final exam. Under certain cases, the College Council may designate others to grade the course final exam.
  • Whoever grades the final exams is responsible to record the course grades on the grade program, sign the sheets, get the Departmental Chairman’s approval, and submit the grades in a closed envelope to the Academic Affairs.
  • Students are not to be given more than two major exams in one day unless permitted by the College Council.
  • Students who are late to arrive at the final exam location for thirty minutes or more are not allowed to take that final exam.
  • Cheating in exams or not following procedures and policies implemented by CBA during exams are things to be punished for by the college according the related bylaws.
  • The College Council, when necessary, gives permission to re-grade an exam during a period not exceeding the beginning of the following semester.

Students must fulfill the remaining requirements of the course during the following semester so as to get their grades changed from IC to the revised grades. If Students fail to fulfill the remaining requirements of the course during and by the end of final exams period of the following semester then the IC grade will be changed to (F) i.e. FAIL and will be considered in the accumulated GPA.

  • Students are allowed to retake courses with a D grade to improve their GPA. In this case the new grade will be the counted grade in the GPA while the old grade will stay in record with a letter (X) i.e. retaken added to it, and it will not count in GPA.
  • ööA student who fails one course or more must register the same course (or courses) again and in this case the new grade will be counted and the old (f) grade (or grades) will be changed to (xf).
