Registration Guidelines

  • All students who want to register must go to the Registration Office to complete the Forms of Registration. Registration period starts from the first day of final exams until the end of the final exams and the first day of classes of the following semester.
  • Late registration starts on the first day of the beginning of classes according to the college academic calendar of the semester and finishes on the last day for adding courses. Late registrations require filling up late registration forms and from the courses instructors, in addition to steps described in guideline approvals (9).
  • Maximum registration credit hours is 18 credit hours. Graduating students are allowed to register up to 21 credit hours considering their GPA and approval of their academic advisors.
  • Students should follow and respect timetables of registration, add, drop and withdrawal according to the college academic calendar.
  • Each student should see his/her academic advisor before registering, adding or dropping a course.
  • Registering students must follow courses pre requisite lists.
  • All procedures of drop, add, late registration and withdrawals should be shown to the Finance Department of the college for financial review .
  • Each student must decide his/her major and fill up application, the pertinent form before registering.

Registration Procedures 

  • Fill up and sign the Registration Form.
  • Get the Academic Advisor’s approval.
  • Pay your fees.
  • Hand in the completed Registration Form to the Registration Office.

Registration: Adding, dropping and withdrawing

Adds :

 A Student is allowed to add one or more courses to his or her registered credits with the help of the academic advisor until the end of the second week of the regular semester and only up to the end of the first week of the summer semester.

Drops :

A Student is allowed to drop one or more courses with the help of the academic advisor and until the end of third week of the regular semester and up to the end of the second week of summer semester.

Withdrawals :

A Student is permitted to withdraw from any course he or she wishes during the semester but until the end of the ninth week of the regular semester and the forth week of summer semester. Withdrawn courses will appear on the student's transcript with a (W).
